LEED® Certification Goal:  LEED Silver

The construction of A.J. Whittenberg School began February 2009 with a goal of LEED Silver certification under LEED for Schools v2.2.  The new school will be approximately 87,445 square feet and is located adjacent to the Salvation Army Kroc Corps Community Center in Greenville.  This close proximity will allow students and educators to leave the classroom and better interact with their surrounding environment.
